How to choose the Best Juicer

You should have an idea of the type of juice that you want to make before buying a juicer. There are different types of juicers depending on whether you prefer citrus juices, other fruits and vegetables, or wheatgrass drinks. The best juicer is the same as choosing the right outfit. You would wear a jacket if it was cold outside. A tuxedo is appropriate for a wedding. The same applies to choosing the right juicer. You must match it to your intended use.

There is no one "perfect juicer", as not every juicer will be able to do all juicing operations. Some juicers may produce perfect orange juice while others are better at juicing raw veggies. There is no one juicer that can do it all. This is due to the fact that fruits and vegetables have very different characteristics and properties. Vegetables require a gentle extraction process because of their fibrous cell walls. Fruits, however, have soft cell walls that can be extracted easily. Vegetables need a more aggressive juicer than fruits.

There are many juicers on the market. Here's a list of some styles and their functions:

* Centrifugal- This is the most common type of juicer. This juicer uses a strainer basket and a shredder disk to extract the pulp. The produce is placed at the top of machine and is then pressed through a chute to the spinning shredder disc. The produce becomes shredded and releases its juice. This juice is then pushed through a strainer basket before it exits the machine. The pulp collects inside the machine and must be emptied frequently. It is not recommended to continue shredding the pulp without stopping to empty it. This method is great for juicing most fruits and vegetables.

* Centrifugal Ejection - This works in the exact same manner as the centrifugal but has a strainer basket that has slanted sides. This allows for "self cleaning". The pulp is collected from the juicer and thrown out. You won't have to stop the juicer to remove the pulp, as you would with a centrifugal juicer. This method is suitable for almost all fruits and vegetables.

* Masticating- This style combines three operations into one. The machine will first grate, then it will chew the pulp to further reduce the cell walls. Finally, the machine will squeeze the pulp mechanically to extract as much juice as possible. This juicer can be used to juice vegetables including leafy greens. It can also make nut butters or baby food.

* One Auger - This is a single auger that cuts and shreds produce in order to extract juice. This method results in very little oxidation. This machine produces a pulpy juice that can be used to make wheat grass and other fruits. However, it cannot process carrots or many other fruits.

These are only a few examples of the many styles that are available. After carefully evaluating your needs, you will be able to choose the machine that is best for you. Before you make any decision, do your research and read a lot of reviews. As we have said, you wouldn’t wear a bathing suit on ice skating rinks. You wouldn’t pick a juicer made for citrus fruits if you wanted to make vegetable juice.
